EFI install questions??

Ok, I'm buying a complete (I hope! ) EFI from Suzicrazy. Is there a web site for this conversion? If not any hints out there ? Do I need a manual for the year of the EFI as well? My zuke is an 88.5 and the EFI is from a 91.

Oh, one more thought, any aftermarket filterchargers for these and are they worth the $$?

Thanks.

Re: EFI install questions??

Get an FSM.
It will show all.
Borrow someones 1990+ Sammi and duplicate what you see .
Have people send photos.

Re: EFI install questions??

Did the same a while back. E mail me if you run into trouble
I don't know of a web site that shows it in detail. I had trouble when I pluged in my tail lights, they pluged in fine but did not work(suzuki changed the color code between years)
You know reverse lights were now turn signals
The swap was not bad IMHO

Did you also get the dash cluster with it?

Re: EFI install questions??

This is what I'm getting....

For Sale: Everything you need to convert your Samurai to Fuel Injected..

Computer
Fuel pump
complete intake
exhaust manifold (O2 sensor)
Complete wiring harness (front to back)
Even the dash cluster goes with it (not the tach model)
ect... everything included except for gas tank as no one will ship it

So I need to get an external pump or find a used one around here. How much of the wiring harness gets replaced?

Re: EFI install questions??

It will make more sense when it all shows up. I replaced all by electrical system from the doner vehicle only because the former owner had it so butchered up.
Either way on the fuel system. The wires will be there for the fuel pump so you can hook it up to the factory fuel pump(expensive) or an aftermarket one.
Don't try to use the 88.5 dash with a tack cause it will burn up the temp. gauge/ fuel guage after about three months use.

I think some of the guys on this board know a mod to do to stop that from happening but I did not so I burnt up my dash guages
Don't forget all the ground wires .It will give you trouble other wise
