A Couple questions

Hello all,
Well to start things off, I pulled the front sidekick Flange off its differential, and realized it has this cylinder type piece that sticks out of the back, and wont let it bolt up to the transfer case properly. Can I cut it down?

Also, this may seem like an un-professional question, but I took the differential out of the aluminum sidekick casing, and cant figure out what are the sidegears, so when I go to bolt it into my sammy axle I will have the right side gears for the swap.

Re: A Couple questions

You are trying to use a diff. pinion flange on the T-case? They have different splines and diameter. No! Don't cut it. I thought Glen told you the t-case splines were the same. Take the flange off of you Kick case and install it onto your Sammy case.

Your side gears are inside the diff case. I believe you must split the diff to get them out.

I could be wrong too....never have been before. I don't have a Kick case sitting in front of me. Did you get the side gears figured out?
