Fuel delivery problem
Now that I'm itching to drive my 410 with it's new suspension I'm having problems starting it. I know it sitting for almost 3 years hasn't helped things and the carb is the culpret. I've already removed it and cleaned it out as best as I could, it wants to start, if I let it sit for a few minutes it will fire up, but die quickly. Then it won't start again, until I let it sit a few minutes, it fires and then dies again. Any suggestions?
My son traveled back to England yesterday, and he's supposed to find me a Mini carb as soon as he gets his bearings straight, BUT I JUST CAN"T WAIT!!!!!
One last dumb ass question..... If I disconnect the wiring harness that runs to the carb, will it still run? I've tried to sart it both ways and get the same result so I think it would. Do I need all that crap, or can I pull it off and out of the way and just plug up the vacuum lines?
