92 Samurai idle and running, NOT!

Help !!!
I am new to the Samurai craze. I have a 92 with 1.3 liter TBI and I am having trouble. The engine sometimes runs fantastic, but when it decides to stop it is pure ????. It will not start and idle or take the fuel. If I unplug the vacuum line from the MAP sensor, the engine will start and idle just fine, but will not take the fuel. If, while the engine is idling and the MAP sensor vac line is off, I pull a vacuum on the sensor or just simply touch the sensor vac line to the intake port, the engine will die.
I have cleaned the EGR and made all the common checks suggested in the Hanes manual but I can not determine whether the MAP sensor is bad or not. Do you have any suggestions? Sometimes, the Sammy will start up and run just fine, without any problems.

Also, where does one find parts for the Samurai?

Thank you,
Puzzled?
