Need cheap fender flare extender ideas?

My friend just got a warning for having his tires sticking out of his flares. He is going to eventually buy a set of bushwackers but he needs something till he has enough money to buy the flares. His tires are sticking out about 4inches and it is a 300CN fine if he gets caught again!

Cut a piece of thick conveyor belt and attach it with BIG zip ties It worked for me.

Buy a couple of trailer fenders and cut them in half. Voila, you have four, 4" wide flares. However, you'll probably want to weld them on. I don't know how else you'd hold them on??

Re: Need cheap fender flare extender ideas?

Mine are attached with snaps. Cost me $5 for the edging and $5 in snaps. When I get to the trail, off they come. They look decent, will take quite a bit of abuse, and will make you legal. If you do a search you'll find info and pics.
