Good grounds

After reading a post by "Kaivi" and an answer back from "Nowhere", I looked at the electrical schematic for my Zuk.
I have seen posts from folks getting absolutely terrible mileage, etc. from their stock setups. I discovered that it is totally feasable that bad grounds through out the engine compartment can give bad readings to the ECM, causing a drop in performance, more so with a stock carb. This isn't the only possible reason for a drop in performance, but it is a good place to start and a cheap fix. Just get some "black" number 10 or 10 gauge wire and some terminal connectors and have at it. Day before yesterday, I checked the main ground from the back of the distributor to the firewall, it was badly corroded. After that, I am going to town on the replacement of the grounds.

Good luck,

Jim
