HELP big time probs with t/case

hello all I think its my shifter sheet but..my shifter is actin up bad it wont even go into 4wd and when its in 2wd I cant pull back on it for it to go into 4wd but it seems to go into 4 lo cause I can tell it revs really high and barely goes anywhere but when I put in in 4 hi again no 4 wheel drive but it takes of like its in 2wd and when I put it in 2wd it goes into neutral (take it I am pullin and pushin hard to put it into any type of gear) its like my shift pattern just went buck ass on me here..

Oh and I just installed this rear sidekick axle and I dunno if its vibes from the rear d shaft or what but my car starts off shaaaakey as hell could that be from the t/case or a calling for a damn carden rear shaft?

Re: HELP big time probs with t/case

Did you remove the shifter from the T-case? if so did you maybe put it in the wrong gear.. truck is in 2wd but shiffter is in 4HI so when you shift from 2wd to 4wd to have to force it in? Just a thought

Do you have the stock shift pattern? Or has it been modified?

Re: HELP big time probs with t/case

stock shift pattern the way it is gettingstuck is symbolizing a shifter sheet but I just wanna make sure...could it be the angle that the rear output shaft is at? I got the pinion angle about 1 degree to steep and from he offset of the kick axle its crooked!

Re: HELP big time probs with t/case

Definetely sounds like the sheet is the place to start. Cheap and easy to replace too.

If you'd had a modified shift pattern, there might have been one or two other possibilities.
