wheel spacers..

hey all I went up to pep boys and looked at some wheel spacers(5/16" to be exact) and when i look at my lugs now I dont think there is enough room to fit them hence I dont have the money for spidertrax spacers...question is will they fit or should I just turn my rims around in the front or something?

Re: wheel spacers..

I don't think that you can flip the wheels around because the lug nut holes are tapered and I don't think that the back side of the wheel is.

Re: wheel spacers..

The back side of the stock spoke wheels has tapered holes, but I am not sure on the taper depth or angle. the bigger problem is that the wheel will hit the drum and the caliper if you try to flip them (I think)

Re: wheel spacers..

You can always knock out the stock studs and insert longer ones. Would be alot of work though for 5/16".
