Stock Manifold Heat Collector ??

Does anyone have a stock heat collector from the OEM exhaust manifold they would want to part with? Thanks.....

Has anyone heard from JEEPN lately?

I have a header coming and if I get to it in the next week or so you are welcome to the collector. Jim

Talk about timing. I took the heat shield off of mine Sunday and have not trashed it yet. If you want it it is yours. Just tell me which way to send it.

Oh, and the long flexible tube is good too.

Crow, are you moving BACKWARDS here? When I bolted on my header at the campground in Moab, the old manifold and heat shield went in the dumpster, and GOOD RIDDANCE! This does seem like a bit of an odd request!

Cheers!
Bob

Re: Stock Manifold Heat Collector ??

WOW! Thanks guys!

It would seem that I'm moving backwards, but I'm trying out an idea for the pre-heat setup I fabbed for my Thorley. Previously, I had 2 pre-heat hoses merging into one that then went to Mega Flow unit. I figured, why not just collect the heat from 4 header pipes instead of just 2? I'm looking at making a clamp on heat collector with one delivery tube to the air filter.
I'll post pics when this is completed....
Pug, I'll take yours if it won't be a problem.... In the meantime, I'll have to fab up a cannister for the K&N filter with a port for the pre-heat hose.....
Thanks again guys!

Anyone have some of those OEM warning stickers that came plastered all over the interior? LOL!

I think they're made for the same folks that need wind chimes to tell if it's breezey......

Re: Stock Manifold Heat Collector ??

OK Crow, you walked into this one, and maybe you can shed some light on it.

Lately, I've seen a very odd thing in a lot of cars & trucks in my area. Dream Catchers suspended from the rear-view mirror. Does it seem odd to you that anybody should be dreaming while driving? Every time I see this, I think "man I hope you're not dreaming"!!!

Cheers
