t/case rebuild???

hello all well my t/case is startin to make some really freaky sounds now..for all who dont remmember when I first got it it would make this constant whine and leak oil out the rear shaft..well now when I start off 1rst gear to second gear it makes this clunk noise..sound like time for a rebuild? I was think the bearing and seal kit from trailtough for 89.95?? sound like a plan..

A clunk, sounds like the drive shaft from transmission to transfercase has a bad u joint. I had that problem and that was it. my 87 has a whine in it for over a year. no problems yet, but I am watching it.

lol its an 87..I will look at the u-joint since it did come outta the zuk along witht he tcase but i swear it doesnt like clunk and go back and forth its almost like this t/case acted different from the angles after my SPOA conversion..now not only does it clunk but it makes this screaching noise and the whinning is faint...
