when the richmond locker come out?

howdy,
so when does the richmond locker come out? now that sounds funny to say, but then again it sounds right to say if you own richmond gears. so when is yukon going to make a locker? i think i just need to stop the drink of pickle juice.

Re: when the richmond locker come out?

Oh yeah, that stuff will make you see funny things. Yukon only makes axles at this time. Way too much tooling involved to make lockers so they say. No one has any idea as to when Richmond will have Powertrax stuff back in production. Right now we are stocking the Detroit version of the EZ-locker that uses the factory side gears like the 1510 Lockright. I just installed one two days ago for a customer in a used carrier, and I was quite impressed with it. Very easy to set up, and seemed to have a bit better engagement. Since the last time Detroit changed them, they are nearly identical to the Lockright, only big difference seemed to be the price and the warranty length. We got the price beat down to the same as the Lockrights, but nothing we can do about the warranty! Plus we have them in stock right now, although they are getting hard to get since the demand for Detroit products doubled.

Re: when the richmond locker come out?

I have been running the Detroit EZ in the rear for the last three years. I love it. It's 98% invisible, has decent street manners, and to date has taken everything I have thrown at it with no problems.
