factory locker??

hey guys I am just about to pull this rear kick axle off and I came notice something....there is some sort of line going into the top of the diff and going where else it goes didnt look that closely..can I clip it?? what does it do?

Sounds like the ABS line. It connects to the front of the rear diff on the drivers side near the top.

well this is at the back dead in the center going into the shell..maybe I will take a closer looksey before I clip it lol

Not sure then, might be something else. The ABS goes in the front, right beside the driveshaft on the center chunk itself.

took a way closer look and..it looked it went over the air vent tube on top of the diff but I just got done workin on my sammy and it was dark so I couldnt see....

NOW I need to know about this solid rear drive shaft?? does it slide out at the t/case? otherwise I am just gonna cut the SOB

If it's like a 92 Kick, just unbolt the d-shaft from the pinion and slide it out of the tcase. I'm almost certain that you don't have to cut it for it to be removed. [img]images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

lol oh but why dont we just make things harder lol..no I am strippin these bolts cause I cant get to them on the pig side so I dunno what to do...if it slides right out the t case then I will slide it out all together and get them out somehow..oh and its an 89

yup...they are TIGHT on there man wont come off stripped 2 of them already freaked me out totally but there kind of hard to get to....any options here??
