OT: King 1-ton diesel mini truck, interesting

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1868373237

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this thing because of the full floating rear axle that looks to be approx Sammi width! Also, the diesel engine and tranny seem like good candidates for a sammi swap. They say that parts are cheap and readily available but I bet you cant pick them up at AutoZone. I also envisioned cutting the bed off right behind the rear axle then adding a front axle and t-case.. a factory crewcab mini crawler would be sweet

anybody ever heard of these things?

howdy,
i think the tail lights could be fitted onto a sammi. but man i wish i had the money to get that. it would be cool to pull around the sammi. heck some ramps and straps, and the bed would hold the sammi just fine.

That's pretty cheap for being next to brand new. It's cheaper than a Lada Niva 4x4.

Man, stretch a sammi frame and drop that bed and cab on it and you would have a cheap offroad version of a Unimog wannabe! Could be fun, not to mention lots of room.
