Have power steering components changed much?

I want to help someone get power steering into their 95 tracker, but my parts are from a 97. I have two questions:

Q1.~ Have the parts changed at all through the 90's?

Q.2~ How many parts will he need?

My guess is it will work, since they are both 16v engines, but I'd hate to waste his time.

Other than the pump, the bracket, hoses, reservoir, steering box... what else is needed?

Thanks everyone!!!!

Jim

Re: Have power steering components changed much?

I pulled one off a 1998 Kick and it was the same as the rest. The newer the better. And the items you mentioned are what you need.

Re: Have power steering components changed much?

I was thinking maybe of putting P/S in in the spring. What is the price I should expect to pay at a junkyard for the components? TT kit or Calmini? Thanks. Jim
