Has anyone ever taken a turbo from a metro (1 ltr 3 cly turbo ) and adapted it to a sami. is it doable?

Hi ,
I am currently working on that using a GTi longblock . I am writing up a detailed article with pics and may get it published as a series . I'll keep ya'll informed ....

Ha! Looks like this one is dead. If memory serves, there are some other suzuki pistons that will fit into the GTI shortblock to give'er about 8.XX compression, good for a turbo application. I've thought about this many a nights, only biggie for me is the ignition (no vacuum) and fuel management (carb or efi, blow through or the other one [img]images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]).
