kick ps trouble shooting

so I've pulled off the the ps pump- and it looks like the leak is coming from the adjuster nut behind the pulley? Is this possible? Or is the fluid possibly coming from behind the spindle ( that the pulley resides on)?
Also, how does one remove the high pressure hose? The low press was a basic hose clamp, but the high press does not have any clamps. My guess is that honling nut- around a 21mm no? Any tricks to that?
On the upside, was able to tighten down the steering shaft( as the puck tore out on the trail) and ended up bolting the shaft and the box direct, instead of re-using the puck.

Re: kick ps trouble shooting

There must be a seal behind the pulley because mine drips from there but I have'nt pursued it yet.

Re: kick ps trouble shooting

And lastly- anyone have the ps cooler? Where did you mount it- in front of the rad or tucked in the shroud?? I'd guess that if it could be located inside the shroud(but not too close to the blades!) it would be ideal for low speed cooling. Looks to be simple install- between the reservoir and pump, using the low pressure(i.e. the hose clamped hose) line,no?
