There my Sami goes again!!!

ALright everybody, my Sami is being stupid again. I got in the sami and turned the key. It tried to start for no longer than a half of a second, then absoltely nothing. I have power to radio, cb, blinkers, parking lamps...but not headlights (low nor high). So...what to check? clutch safety switch? Help please.

Re: There my Sami goes again!!!

Check for power TO the clutch safety switch. With the key in start position, see if you have power to one of the wires.

If so, bypass the clutch switch and see if anything happens. If not, its NOT the clutch switch, move on to the starter

See it the small wire to the solonoid has power with the key on start. if it does, its the starter soloniod, or the starter itself.

Re: There my Sami goes again!!!

Okay. I tested the leads going into the clutch safety switch. One turned out good. I jumped the clutch safety switch. Still no power. So I tested the starter, and I have no power there with the ignition on. Soo...maybe a dead battery? I'm going to go down to Kragen's Auto to have it tested. I hope this is the problem.
Any more suggestions?

Re: There my Sami goes again!!!

Alllrighty! I took the battery down to Kragen's Auto and it tested half power. So I bought a new one, and all is good now! Everything works and some things, like headlights and stereo, work even better now. Yeah!!! Thanks for all the help guys!
