Hello all ,
I am putting a new gm 65 amp alternator on my sami after the original died last weekend (195 to replace!!) . I milled my own bracket , and wanted to know what the 2 wires are that come put of the alternator in the green plug . That way I can splice in a GM harness and get it back on the road !! Any info would be a great help . Thanx, Will .
Don't even worry about picking up a GM harness. Just pick up two female connector ends and crimp them onto the Samurai harness (after you cut off that old plug).
With the two wires you can only go wrong 50% of the time. If the battery light is one when you get it all hooked back up and running, just switch the wires. Be sure to upgrade the feed wire by a separate line to 6 or 8 gauge.
Keep it up hippy , I'll give all your parts samis to skully .. Oh wait , he already srole all of them :-) !! I could make some money on that extra Toyota axel out there !! Anyone on the board want a free toyota axel in watkins glen ???
