hardtop questions

I bought a removable hardtop today. My question is the clips on the top piece are in line with the two bars that holds the windshield frame to the targer.should them bars be removed to install the top piece?Or do I need them bars to hold up the windshield frame ??? p.s. Max was kind enough to let me drive his rig today and it was awsome. I definetly love the power of a 16v

Re: hardtop questions

I have removable hardtops on 2 of my Zuks...one is a 2 piece, the other is the one piece. The clips on the inside are supposed to be installed in the factory drilled holes that are about an inch towards the inside of the bars, so you should be able to install the top without removing them.

Re: hardtop questions

Not sure about your top but on mine the bars had to be moved to the underside of the targa bar and rebolted there.
