Re: Will this help a 16v motor ??????

I think that only the 96 and newer 16valve engines had the air intake temp gage... not sure on that, but I pretty sure that my 1992 16valve engine does not have an air intake temp gage...

most of them are mounted on the airbox where the filter is...

I could be wrong without a data sheet to look at with me...

but that might be why nobody has bid on it and it only has a day left on the auction.

I wouldn't buy that piece of crap if I were you. There was a post about a month ago, and some of the guys on this board have bought it, all it is is a resistor that fools the computer into thinking that the engine needs more gas in the air-fuel mixture, because the engine is cool, similar to what the choke does when closed on a carb. Have you run an engine very rich over an extended period of time like with a stuck choke. Not good brudduh. Don't buy it. My .02

I second the "buyer beware"...

You'd get more performance from removing the rear seat and spare tire~~~~

~~~and that won't kill your rings or valves either
It is a resistor that LEANS out the mixture. It is definatly something you do not want to do. Look at the guy's feedback!
