Zookin in Question??

Took my skid plate down and found an oil spot right below where the driveshaft goes into the tcase. Looked up and saw a small drip and a little wetness. Took it out for a short spin and saw no drips. Is the seal shot? Seeing I don't have time to fix it before Zookin next weekend should it not be run? TIA. Jim

Re: Zookin in Question??

thats not really a big deal. Check the oil level, bet its still good. Top it off and keep an eye on it. After a long drive on the highway my GRSII would leave a spot the size of a half dollar and it would be fine until my next trip on the highway. Did that all summer and I only had to top it off once. I have since changed the seal. You should be fine, dont let it ruin your weekend.
