Shocks and lift question.....

I am getting some Calmini 3" lift springs and 1" longer shackles for my Zuki.....I heard the Calmini springs are alittle stiff,so to soften them up all I can I want to put some Doetsch Tech 3000 shocks on it.....

I called Calmini to see if the could give me the shock lengths (extended and compressed) and they were total A$$HOLES about it.....saying the wouldnt give me that info but would sell me their shocks.....Well anyway has anybody here running this setup or something real similar that could give me their shock lengths to go by??

I am going to get them from Doetsch Tech's site to save a little money plus they have free shipping ordering straight thru them. They told me to give them the lengths so they would know what to sell me

Re: Shocks and lift question.....

Their customer service should help you in your decision whether to purchase your springs from Calmini or not.

If you are looking for a smoother ride, consider OME, rears up front or YJ springs all around.

Re: Shocks and lift question.....

Cow-crap-O-Meanie have been complete *******S to me in all my correspondance that I have had with them,,,

I actually thought of buying some of their product before, but they helped me change my mind quickly...

so if you buy from them, good luck...

I hope they are nicer to you than me... cuz I won't talk to them or have any of their product on my rig..

Re: Shocks and lift question.....

Ok, I just measured my shocks which came with my Calmini 5" kit. 3" springs with 2" s/r. Compressed at 14" and full extend at 23". Rides hard and not much flex but good road manors.
