well, its been hyped up, but all I know is whats below

The following taken from rocky-road

Replacement body tubs. They're almost here. Actually, the prototypes have been completed. We'll be putting some pics up on the website in June. Pricing has not been established yet..... Don't ask, we have nothing to tell you about prices at this time. Both regular Samurai and Long Wheelbase Samurai bodies will be produced. We'll also be offering LWB frames to go with the bodies or you can extend your existing frame. This is all the details we have now. Stay tuned though as we'll be putting more pictures and technical data about the bodies as time grows closers.

its a little past june though

Re: tubs

howdy,
don't get your hopes on body tubs. tubs are an urban myth when it comes to the sammi. it kind of like fishing in the desert, or fighting the boogie man, or like jeeps that don't suck. i mean suck down the gas...yeah..that sounds good...nice catch..almost got my butt kicked.

Re: tubs

Just out of curiosity, how many people would be interested in an aluminum tub if it existed? It would be at least 4 times as thick as a stock tub and would cost around $2500. The reason I ask is I am good friends with the owner of JP off road, who does aluminum jeep tubs (I spot and drive for him in rock crawling comps). If we had enough serious interest (cash in hand) I could propose it to him.
