I've been doing alot of uploading to it and they only allow so much data transfer. Some stuff they been pulling latly to get you to buy. Sorry 'bout that. I too those pix when I changed a carb so I would remember them. Jim

Re: HELP! I need pics of stock carb setup, Vacuumline

The part I seem to be having trouble with is tryin to figure out where the two lines go off that electronic thing at the front of the motor. The one that has two places for lines right above each other.
Then on the round spaceship lookin thing that has one line t'd off the goes to the dist. then the other thicker line that goes to the egr valve where does the other line go???
I can get it to start but then it just dies right away.

I'm just a little curious to why you are going back? I bought an 87 that already had a weber on it and I just can't get it tuned in right. I have considered trying to go back to the stocker. I finally got it idling and running good after I got Crow's excellent CD but my choke has never worked. Sometimes it just seems its a little more trouble than its worth.

Bord,
The weber that came on this rig was all jury rigged and wouldnt idle below 3K so thats the only reason Im swaping back. Webers do seem to take alot of adjusting, I have one on my other samurai that is that way.

There are some members here knowledgeable about Webers. Sarge seems to have a side hobby on just adjusting them right for others. For an alternative look at tazuki88's post on Pony's.
