Rollbar Info

I was wondering if a soft top rollbar can be used in a hardtop (without to much of a hassle)? -thanks

Re: Rollbar Info

I have a hardtop and was interested in that too. Brent at www.trailtough.com said that they have to be modified. I see Davesport has a hardtop with full cage installed pictured on his site at http://www.davesport.com/suzuki/hardtop.htm.

If you do it, let us know how it turns out.

Re: Rollbar Info

I have one of each. Without measuring, it looks like it needs narrowing slightly, and the tabs to the upper seat belt bolts would then need bend down or spacers. The rear window gaurd bar may also be in the way.

Why not an external cage/safari rack?

Re: Rollbar Info

I've looked at an exo cage, but most of the trails we use put the fender flares up against the body now I would hate to try it with an exo cage, I'm not the best welder but if I can just "tweek" a stock rollbar I'll give it a try.-thanks for the info
