Heater Control Removal

Seems like the top cable, the one that controls the heater vent directions, has come loose. How do you get to it? The bottom cable for the heat was bent and I was able to straighten that from underneath but can't reach the top one. Thanks. Jim

Re: Heater Control Removal

You should be able to reach if you remove the two top vents going to the bottom of the heater core (Windshield Defog vents).. the cable is located right behind the controls and may be a pain to un-clip it. you could also try taking the plastic piece where your vent/heater controls is, and pulling it out.
