I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

Well, I purchased a new rig. Oh man, I'm going to get yelled at here. But I bought a *cough*Jeep*cough*. You see, I wanted a rig that I could make into an off-road only truck, or as some of you call it a "trailer queen." So, I bought a Jeep. I bought a Jeep so I can turn the Samurai into an off-road only truck, because we all know a Jeep wouldn't survive. I just wanted a daily driver that can keep up with traffic a little better. And something to tow the Zuk with! Well, I just wanted to admit to my crime. Please don't maul me! hehe Keep on ZUKIN' folks!!!!!!!

Re: I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

just make sure that you put a custom roll cage in it, so if you roll it you will be able to survive..

from what I have seen, the factory roll bars that they have don't do so well and I wonder if the people survived...

Re: I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

I have 3 Zuks,1 Kick,1 Dodge,1 Buick, and 1 Jeep.Suzuki's outweigh anything else I own.In my opinion owning a Jeep isn't a bad thing.A Suzuki is a Japanese Jeep. Why not own the two best off road vehicles at the same time.I am not ashamed of you or myself.I know there are a few more out there that own the same as us.

Re: I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

Actually I guess it depends on the model. I say a Renegade do 3 barrel rolls at 60 mph on the Highway and the bar held up well. I was next to him when it happened and by the time I pulled over ( thought the poor bugger was dead) he was out of the Jeep. I was very amazed at well it heald up. I have also seen a number of TJ's after doing numberous barrel rolls and the windshiels frame is very strong in them, and also held up well. My daily is a TJ :-)

Re: I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

I have 3 Zuk's LWB,SWB,LJ-81.
I also have a 92 Jeep Cherokee that has been one of the most reliable vehicules I have ever owned. People tell me it's a miracle.....it has 150,000 miles and runs like a champ.
Now, I used to own a CJ(unk)-7 and that was a different story all together!

Each his own I guess..

Re: I\'ve Done A Terrible, Terrible Crime

If you take a look at a old military M151 jeep, you will find that the sammie is IDENTICAL to it (the body is a little more spruced up though). The frame, diffs, eng/trans setup, and most of the tub are virually the same. The zuki is a stolen idea, but made a whole lot better. Here is where I yell, "INCOMING!!" and hit the deck. Flame away y'all, but look and you will see...
