2\" lift shackles needed

Anybody got a set of shackles that they want to get rid of? I need a set of 1.5" to 2" lift shackles.

Re: 2\" lift shackles needed

not that hard to build a set.... use at least 3/8" stock and weld a center in them..... but will really effect the steering since they will change your camber unless you install wedge shims under the springs

That is not a bad idea. I have access to a laser cutter and about a dozen certified first class welders. Anybody got a drawing or sketch of some that they built?

There is no reason to break out the lazer cutter.

Just buy some 3/8x2" flat bar. Cut to the correct length and drill a couple holes. Make sure they all match. And buy some bolts.

Brad, In a week or two, I'll have a set of shackles (2" longer) that you can have....free. They need some tender loving care (strip and paint). If they will help you out, they are yours....

Brad, I thought you were going SPOA. Have you changed your mind? Are you still interested in my National springs?

Re: 2\" lift shackles needed

Crowhorse,
Sent you a pm.

Mr. Surly,
I have not changed my mind, just trying to get by for a while longer. I am in the process of changing out all my wheel bearings and a few other things. Trying to get this thing back on the road. I should have in drivable later today. The shackles are just to give me a little extra clearance until next spring.
