4x4 Austin Mini

Sorry boys, the 4x4 Austin Mini is a project I just started three weeks ago. I am using my sj410 frame and driveline and mounting the mini body on it. To this day I only have the motor rebuilt and the frame stripped of its original body and all the brake and fuel lines removed. Tomorrow I am going to sand blast the frame and paint it with POR15. I'm not going to say when it will be done because when ever I make a due date it won't be done. I'll keep you guys up to date on my progress.

Re: 4x4 Austin Mini

I am using a 76' saloon. I picked it up from my local scrap yard for $150 cdn. Do you want picks of the frame and/or the mini itself before I strip the subframes and motor out.

And the wheel base is 1/2 an inch different. All you have to do is put a body lift on it or do a spring over. I'm going to do a body lift.

Re: 4x4 Austin Mini

How do you put pics on. Can I put them on directly from my hard drive or does it have to off the net.

Re: 4x4 Austin Mini

any motor etc in the mini? if so, whatcha plannin on doin with it? got any leads on any running/rusted minis? i have a florida mini saloon, was used for flat tracking, amazingly solid body, still needing running gear for it. what part of ontario ya in?

you should be able to put pics on from your hard drive, click the " I want to preview my post and/or attach a file. " has to be under certian size though.
