Leaf Springs On A Sami

I cant take this anymore im going to go with different leaf spings. but want to keep them stock lenth with maybe a 2 inch higher than stock arch. whats a good spring with a softer ride and more flex than stock but the same lenth (as in no kit needed) as stock. my srpings are all fu*ked up. and if i put stock one back in like i planed they are just going to get messed up again.

Re: Leaf Springs On A Sami

There's lots of brands. If you're into jumping you'll want a stiffer spring. I try to keep all feet on the ground at the same time. I've been running the OME's for about 5 years and still like them. They have settled maybe an inch all the way around. I got the 2.5 inch ones with 2 inch longer shackles so now I'm at about 2 inches of spring lift. You'll need a longer shackle. Any spring that gives you lift has a greater arch to it and therefore is longer. Tthe longer shackle gives the spring more room to flex.

im trying to find a spring that will flex better than stock and maybe a little softer ride im going to be getting revolver shackels. i dont jump my zuk i do alot of rock crawling and just plain wheeling i never jump my zuk so with that in mind what springs are you guys running and what would you recommend for a good soft ride with good flex.

YJ's.. rides like a caddy!

I hear the OME's are pretty much top notch for ride and flex for a lifted Zuk spring. Roadless gear also seems to have the best prices.

Under $300 for a set of 4.

Re: Leaf Springs On A Sami

My buddy Keith and I both use 4" Trailmaster springs. Doetschtech shocks & custom shackles. My shackles are fabbed by me & Keith's are TerraFlex Revolvers. Although we aren't breakin' any flex records we are both happy using these setups because the ride is as soft as you can get. (in my opinion & Keith's). Plenty of articulation for our type of wheelin'. They twist up pretty nice. I understand you are looking for something close to OME. All I can add here is my opinion on Trailmaster springs (whatrever size you might use for your zuke) & DT shocks. Excellent combo if you are looking for ride quality and good flex. Poser pics attached. Don't have any pics that i know to be for sure full flex but i'm sure these are about as far as these Zukes twist. Not too bad at all.
