Re: Tracker power steering into Samurai

you will need a bracket and pulley to accomodate the kick steering box. i have the calmini conversion and i highly recommend it - nice fit and finish.

What 'ya got to part out of that Tracker? If its a 5 speed, I need a front diff if yours still has its mount in 1 piece. Mine's busted so no 4wd until fixed. License plate light/mount on the tailgate, got one to sell?

Also will need to buy a 8v block or motor pretty soon, mine has a crack in the water jacket.

Re: Tracker power steering into Samurai

I make a nice billet aluminum hybrid (v-belt and micro v combo)pulley for this conversion. Here is the link to the page http://www.rotational-dynamics.com/page2.html

No more steel pulley wobble. Pulley has 10% over-drive on the p/s side for more pressure at low rpm and the alt/water pump side is 18$ under-drive. Pulley weighs about 1lb.
