Anyone need a 3.0 V6 Ford

I have a great running 3.0L v6 Ford motor sitting in an Aerostar van in my driveway....the wife says it has to go!!!
It is the same size as the 2.8, and 2.9....a good swap for the Sammy. It has all of the injection, and wiring and computer.
I bought the van for the transmission, and I don't need the rest. The engine actually runs better thatn the one in my van(I drove it home.). I can put the bellhousing back on, and get it started, if you want to hear it run.
I need $150 out of it. I am in south central Indiana(Bedford).
Buy the motor, and you can have whatever else you want off the van.(or take it all if you want it!!)
Either post back here, or email me at: [email protected]

Re: Anyone need a 3.0 V6 Ford

The 3.0 is actually a little taller that the 2.8/2.9 if you measure from the bottom of the fuel pan to the top of the intake manifold. And you can get away with not cutting the tranny tunnel if you have a 3" bod lift and a BFH.

neil, cuttin the tranny tunnel is not a problem for me, not worried bout it noways. worried about engine clearence under the hood. plannin on chuckin the solid axle for mustang II ifs most likely. unless i can incoporate some other ifs in there easier. gotta look under some of my junkers and see what is gonna be the easiest.

bob, is that van ifs or struts up front?????

Um, I meant if you measure from the bottom of the oil pan to the top of the manifold, not the fuel pan. DOH! I think it said 3 inches taller, not sure.
