Turning Sammi Drums

Are Sammi drums able to be turned or are they the "disposable" type? Mine are a little grooved. Tia. Jim

Re: Turning Sammi Drums

they can be turned if not worn too much. If you need a set I am sure I have some.

Yep, turnable. 8.66 is stock and the service limit is 8.74, so only .120 available for turning. If the groves exceed .060 deep, its unrecoverable.

Might as well just convert over to rear disk brakes while you've got it all apart & have drum problems

Bill, If it were my HT I probably would consider it but not with the budget build up. The right side was questionable but the driver side has a real nice ridge. Jim
