? about E-Lockers

Does anyone here know anything about the E-Lockers (seen them, used them)? Are they comparable to the ARB's as far as price, ease of use and what not?
I'm looking at getting a selectable locker and I'm just basicaly wondering what's out there for the sami. I'm wanting a set up for stock sami axles, and those are the only two that I know of for sami's.

Are the e-lockers released yet? Do they have them for the Kick rear 3rds?

Re: ? about E-Lockers

There is a factory Toyota elocker which is an option if you go toy axles. I have one up front and really like it.

There are no e-lockers for Sammi axles and it looks unlikely there will be one in the near future

Re: ? about E-Lockers

The Eaton E-Locker sounds pretty good, got good reviews in Four Wheeler and 4-Wheel & Off-Road. However, they're slowly releasing it for the common GM, Dana, and Ford axles, and not an import model or projected model in sight. Might be a while before they make one for an import, let alone a Sammy or Kick/Tracker. If I remember the story right, ARB had to be petitioned to make one for the Kicks/Trackers, and that took a long while.

Re: ? about E-Lockers

The Eaton E-Locker is being used in the Nissan X-Terra project vehicle being built and tested by Calmini, so it's POSSIBLE that they WILL have one for the Sidekick in the future.

Steve Kramer at Calmini makes mysterious references to the future, and making the Sidekick IFS totally bomb-proof, and having "push-button" locking, and I DON'T think he's talking about ARB's, when he's working this closely with Eaton. If this is true, there may be a lot more Sami people upgrading to Sidekick 3rd members, I would guess.
