what clutches do you all use?

howdy,
today at work me and my boss had alittle fun with my sammi, a dirt hill, and a smoking clutch. i was wondering if i should put a centerforce clutch in my sammi? if so should i use the regular, duel, or centerforce 2? or is the stock clutch a fine replacement? i have a maxed out engine in hp and 33 tyres, no gears in this one yet.

Call Petroworks, They sold me on there clutch it's as tough as the centerforce but you can slip it. Unlike the centerforce which is either in or out also you wont have a bigger left leg they say it feels like stock, I've got mine but have'nt installed it yet so this is all according to petroworks. They say it's like the one all the little rice burner racers are using.

Hope this helps,
Don

Re: what clutches do you all use?

I am running a centerforce dual friction clutch.. and it is a great clutch, I have adjusted it and it feathers awesome, no in or out / on or off, that i have noticed...
just smooth as can be.. but I guess that is up to whether you have it adjusted correctly...
and it holds like nothing else can....

great clutch... was worth every bit of investment

Center force dual friction all the way.Slips well and grabs even better.I have had trouble out of it once and that is when it was first installed on its maiden voyage, not adjusted right.Since then no problems.

I've had a Petroworks clutch for almost 3 years now. Absolutely love it. Best part, is I can order a replacement disk only if I ever need it. Saves money down the road.

Centerforce D/F all the way. Can slip if needed and hold tight when needed. Feel like stock also.

Re: what clutches do you all use?

I had a Petroworks clutch and at less than 1 year old, it was shot. I've been running an oem replacement from napa for about 2 years and i like that much more, especially the price. When this one finally goes, i might try a CF duel friction, since i have not yet tried one, then i'll be a oozing with clutch knowledge

Re: what clutches do you all use?

I am running a stock napa also wich works great. If your running 31's or whatever with a stock t-case it doesnt matter what you use its gonna get burnt. I waited will i got the 4:1s in so i havent burnt it one single time.

I have heard from many many very relaible sources that a centerforce single disc is simply a napa clutch painted orange. My buddy has a old one laying around i should compare the 2
