Sweet!!!

I am going to pickup my new to me Sami at 4pm Friday. I am so excited that I cant sleep.

Sweet deal at $300. Not sure of the year, but its a soft top and completely stock.

I am finally joining the Sami crowd.
This will compliment my 2 Toyota 4x4s very well

What mods should I do first? I have some wrangler springs, and plan on doing a Spring Over first thing.

Re: Sweet!!!

Welcome to the family, Benny Boy

Always good to have another join our ranks. The first mod you should do is to the engine to get more power, but it kinda sounds like you got a spoa as the first already.

Re: Sweet!!!

Welcome aboard! Glad to have ya with us.
-Like mnrnr said; Drive it a while in stock (or spoa) form and then determine what you'll want to do next. I strongly encourage the spoa and a good set of tires. Then you find you need lower gears, then you find you need skid plate and rocker protection, then you find you need more horsepower, then better seats, then, then, then, well, you know how it goes. Best of luck, and stay tuned to this BBS, you can find all you need to know here. Not only are there lots of Suzuki owners and drivers, but several vendors as well. We got it all!

Re: Sweet!!!

Go stock, get some used agressive tires, and a locker. You'll have to learn the suzuki..

Re: Sweet!!!

Welcome aboard.

Hold on the SPOA untill you have off roaded it a couple of times, and can do something about the bump steer when you do it. The most common complaint I hear is steering probs after a SPOA and a Zbar is used to clear the spring. Crossover, or an idler arm set up will fix it.

Re: Sweet!!!

Ben, I agree with the others here on this board, drive it in stock for a little and see how it handles then start modifying it..

one thing to think about, I was looking at your site, and noticed on your parts truck (toyota) those axels would be a great mod you can do to your samurai, there are several people on this board who have converted over to yota axels and you can use what you already have in your yard... sweet...

anyway, welcome to suzuki's.... they are a blast...
