New NE Fab Fest Thread

All I can say is WOW....

The response to this has been amazing...

Here is the story to date:

So far there will be apx 16+ people attending this and like 6 official projects so far...WOW again...I will be hosting this monstrous event at my house (Im sure the Hot Tub had nothing to do with the enthusiasm)in Auburn MA Friday - Sunday 19-21 July...Here are the directions:

Directions from Marlboro area:
Take 495 to 290W (exit 25B to Worcester)
You'll keep going on the 290 for about 18 miles
Take exit 9 (Auburn Street)
Take a right at end of ramp
Rockland Rd is the third street on the right and we're the fourth house on the right (#8). Our driveway is right next to our neighbors - turn into the driveway where you see the tree with the mailbox nailed to it.

Directions from Framingham area:
Take the Turnpike (90) west until you get to the 290 Worcester exit (I believe it is exit 7)
Take 290 towards Worcester
Take the Swanson Street exit off of 290 (I believe this is exit 9)
At the end of the offramp, take a left at the stop sign.
Cross over the 290 and take a right at the stop light onto Vine St
At the next set of stop lights, take a left onto Auburn st
Rockland Rd is the third street on the right and we're the fourth house on the right (#8). Our driveway is right next to our neighbors - turn into the driveway where you see the tree with the mailbox nailed to it.

There will be overflow parking for the event at a local diner about 100Yds from the house...I promised him that we would go there for Breakfast...He seemed to like that...I actually think I saw $$$ in his eyes...There will be room for everyone to sleep...Just bring Ur sleeping bags...There is plenty in Auburn...2 Hotels, parts stores, liquor stores, markets, fast food, ect...all within 2 miles of my house...
We will be doing a light trail run on Sunday if everyone is up for it...
Tim is supposed to be doing a Web page for this...Hopefully we can have a formal Sign up then...Tom

Re: New NE Fab Fest Thread

Well my YJ's will be done tomorrow, so it can be removed from the projects list, but I plan to be there for satuirday at least, most likely working on Sunday but not until 10 so maybe i can get breakfast too.

Might have a few things to get fixed as it will be post-melt. Maybe some skyhoops to get welded on. Or a panhard bar, or whatever I win in the melt raffle! ;-)

Re: New NE Fab Fest Thread

I'm planning to be out saturday morning for saturday at least, may stay over depending on how stuff goes. I want to compare notes with everyone and check out basenshuki's suspension (similr to what I am planning) and help out if I can. I am also throwing my welded diff in the back of truck in case people run out of stuff to do. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Crow,
Bring what you will...However, I only have 110V in the garage, so if the welder is a 220, dont bother...Tom
