Top Dollar For 2\" diameter Nerf Bars

Hi,

Looking for the 2" diameter nerf bars for the Suzuki Samurai. They were manufactured by several companies including Hobrecht as late as 1995. Must be black and in good - excellent condition.

Please e-mail me privately at [email protected]

Thanks. John

Nerf bars suck you should just make your own rock sliders. Protection is better and cheaper to make.

Rock sliders are out of the question, (unless you have a typical East Coast rust bucket in which case you have little choice but to lift it to high heaven and bolt on all that rock crawler garbage). lol.

There was a guy selling something similar to nerf bars fairly cheap.

The ShrockBars I make come std with a 1.5" tube. I could do a 2" tube if you wanted. Body-mount (as shown), frame-mount and double-mount versions are now available. Unlike nerfbars, they are virtually indestructible 1/4" steel.

Just an option...

Well, I've run those bulky/kinda heavy/thin Nerfs on other cars.
Things they are really good for is blocking debris that your tires kick-up, looks(if you like how they look), and a step if you are vertically challenged.
They do really hinder your ground clearance though, and if you do ever bash them the will usually dent pretty bad.
They also require alot stronger bracing because of the leverage issues from sticking out so far.
I would have to agree with the consenses...buy some sliders or put on angle iron, the best thing I have seen ESPECIALLY if your rockers are rusted is to cut it all out and weld in some 2x4 steel in instead.
