SOS/LUCKY 1.3.....THE NEW WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does fitting a Toyota or Kick/Tracker Tranny and transfer case(s) or what ever you can dream up sound mated to your "STOCK" 1.3L sound..........for under $50 .......Patent has been applied for .......and now the adventure starts! There may be an SOS/LUCKY 1.3 in your future my friend!
I guess what I am really trying to say is that if you didn't have to change the engine, computer, wiring harness, motor mounts, but you did have to replace the bell housing, flywheel (21lbs. versus 13 lbs.....added torque), starter, clutch, from a stock 1.6L etc. for the benefit of great crawl ratio's up to 550-1......... and the best part is for under $50. Stay tuned for an announcement from SOS at ZookiMelt!!!!!

Sense will be made in the near future........1.3L engines will finally have the option of being able to mate up to Kick and Toyota trannies/t-case(s) in the very near future with no machining and no "special" tools.

Re: SOS/LUCKY 1.3.....THE NEW WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I didn't fully understand that one Kerry, but anything that would only cost $50 and would give me major improvements on my rig's capabilities is extremely interesting!!

You have definitely got my attention and I will be waiting for the post-Melt posting (since I can't attend)!

Thanks again for the flywheel. I will return to you in person at Melt. 1-2 more weeks and first "LUCKY 13" will hopefully be here. Kerry

Re: SOS/LUCKY 1.3.....THE NEW WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerry,

Ive always thougth that for crawling, that a heavy flywheel was better. In our dirt cars we ran as light of a rotating mass as possible, but when crawling, do you need the heavier weight to keep things turning? I went with a stock heavy flywheel in the zuk when I did my yota swap, but ive got all the light stuff still on the shelf. However I did think that heavy, to an extent, was better than light.
