One-half INCH is okay. One-half TURN is a bad thing!

With a locker thats not unheard of, You are locked on that end right? Edited to add- I didn't see the 3/4 of a turn part,
but i get alot more play with my lockright than before.
So you "May" have a problem. disconnect the d-shaft and see which end the play is in.

Re: Drive shaft play?
I'd have to disagree. Play is normal in locked vehicles. However, if you're getting up to 3/4 of a driveshaft rotation, this is not normal at all. An inch, maybe two would be acceptable.

I just wouldn't know whether to tell you to go into the diff or the tcase first. I'd probably look at the tcase first as that kind of rotation coming from your transfer case indicates something is messed up in there.

The diff would need to be addressed too. Check your backlash.
