raspy noise from the engine

I get a strange raspy (not a vacuum leak noise) from my 1.6L, 8 valve when I first start it (if the choke on my weber wants to work) and when the RPMs go about 3,800 or higher....any ideas as to what it can be?

Thanks

When I installed my 1.6 I had a strange noise and I found it to be my inspection plate was rubbing on my flywheel...Just another thought for you...
