Tracker/\'Kick radiator differences

So tonight I sat down to order a new radiator for my Tracker from www.radiator.com. The Tracker's an 89 by its paperwork. $132, not a bad price. But what's this, a 1990 version, is $111. And a 1991 version, $320! WTF?

Seems from all I've read on this fabulous board and from the manuals, Trackers & 'Kicks were all the same & interchangeable from 89 until 94. Is there differences in the radiators that anyone else is aware of?

Ya'll already know I'm a cheap SOB, so do I buy the 90 model and trust it fits?

Re: Tracker/\'Kick radiator differences

I am not sure but my '93 is aluminium with plastic tanks, probably the $320 one, I bet the less expensive ones are brass kind maybe??

I went and looked and ONLY the 91 is $320.. the 93 was $155.. Odd??

Re: Tracker/\'Kick radiator differences

Today, first I called my local Chevy dealer. He confirmed 1 part number for Tracker radiators from 89 through 91 with manual tranny. ($907 BTW!).

Called Radiators.com, they showed 3 part numbers, 1 for manual tranny, 1 for auto trannys and he couldn't confirm what the 3rd one fit. Thought maybe it had something to do with shroud attachment, but couldn't verify.

So, he sold me the one listed as fitting the 89 model for the least expensive price of $111. Go figure...
