7mm I don't think it's neccisarly the size but the conductivity of whats inside maybe. As far as I know Jacobs, MSD, and Knoledgy make some of the top "performance wires. Although depending on age of your current wires you would probably benefit froma set of Autozone specail wires.

The wider the better, and the higher quality the better.

Re: spark plug wires please help fast!

If you can wait for mail order, in the Summit catalog they sell Accel and Summit brand (Moroso or Taylor I think) wires that you can actually build yourself. They are for 8 cylinder vehicles, which means you get an extra set too. These are 8mm wires which should take care of any ignition mods you ever make, period.

Sometimes the Accel wires can be found at local shops, but I am not sure which. The Summit come with a crimper, with the Accel wires you provide your own.

If I can build a set of wires, then any third or fourth grader off the street can too.

Good luck,

Jim
