mine is 3 inches over in front and 1.5 over in back... so I guess. welding tabs will be added to be "legal"

but I see stock Big 3/4 ton trucks over the limit here in Idaho.. with no mods to them...

I saw this note on one site about Virginia's laws ... "Jeeps, Samurais, Broncos and Internationals etc without a DETATCHED BED or considered a PANEL TRUCK are NOT included in this range. They consider these PASENGER vehicles and do NOT list a GVWR rating on the vehicles registration. Passenger vehicles have a max. bumper height of 22" ... This throws a monkey wrench in the works depending on how one does the defineing for his ride.
