roll bar padding

my main hoop has a zip on pad.
I have seen other zip on pads on other bars and I was wondering.
What pads came from the factory?
Did they have main hoop to windshield pads?

Re: roll bar padding

The targa bar has a zip on pad, and the two bars that go from the targa to the windshield have pads that slip over them (have to unbolt to attach the pads or remove them). The main hoop or roll bar has a zip on pad and the two supports that go down to the bed also have slip-on pads. These are all factory items.

Re: roll bar padding

targa bar has a pad?
you mean the main hoop, or the targa bar itself?

Re: roll bar padding

targa bar has a pad? YES
you mean the main hoop, or the targa bar itself? They both came with pads, including the bars that run to the windshield.

Re: roll bar padding

Summit racing or Jegs or any racing dealer will hook you up with the cool color pads.

Depending on the size (some or low profile but still offer good protection) they can run anywhere from $10 to $20 per 3 foot length.

I have seen people just use extruded foam that appears to come from the pool toy section of walmart....
