Tracker clutch install

By the time I got off work, I only had time for a neighbor to help me tow my tracker back home. I have duty till tomorrow morning and I will ce able to check the firewall and clutch cable better. If I end up having to replace the clutch set, in my 95 tracker, 2wd. How long of procedure is it? I have a Haynes. A local transmission shop quoted me that it would take 7 hrs of labor. Also does anyone have any helpful hints that would help me in doing this? Thanks in advance.
