Re: head gasket help please

Just get a head gasket and intake gasket from Dave at Asian Auto , he's got the best price on them that I've found yet , and they are great gaskets . Just make sure the oil port to the head isn't blocked by installing the gasket the wrong way . Also, if the valve cover gasket is old, just replace it , or it may leak . The complete top end set includes the valve stem seals, and they triple the cost of the kit .

Re: head gasket help please

hey, I got your email....but our normal server is down.....so I couldn't
reply....

1298 and 1324 gaskets are the same.....

I'll beat any price on a head gasket, head gasket set, or a full gasket set.

Dave

p.s. go to our website and look for the order form....print it and fax it to
us...(I will send a full gasket set for $45 US.) if you want/need only a head gasket, I'll send it for $18.

just helping a Zuk-er out

Dave, you the man! Doing the valve stem seals is worth the work , but if the stems are worn , they won't last long . Besides , then you have to wrestle with compressing the valve springs . It wouldn't be a bad idea while it's apart , just wanted to let you know what is involved .
