Weber carb mod ?

Awhile back someone posted info on modifying the vent tube to keep the Weber from flooding out while on steep down hill decents. I have searched to no avail, anyone know about this mod and/or have pics. It was something about soldering in and extending the tube or something like that, cant remeber though...
Thx

Re: Weber carb mod ?

probably the single greatest mod I ever did to mine was to flip it around 180. This made my Weber run quite well when climbing very steep hills, going down you could feel/hear it wanting to flood out but it was NEVER a problem. In fact, it never stalled....accept when i flipped it. I let the gears 'drag' when going down hill, so even if it wants to flood it just couldnt. I filled in most of the areas as in the pics on ORC. I threw in a few tricks of my own too.
