Need An Engine!

Does anyone know where I might be able to find an engine for my Samurai? The thing locked up one night when I was coming home from work. Just had to be the coldest night of the year too. Ah well. Anyhow, I am in need of a cheap engine to drop in that will get me from point A to point B. And some trails too of course. If anyone knows where I can find a cheap, yet fairly decent one, let me know. Anyone of you have a spare one for sale? Thanks for your help!

Re: Need An Engine!

Do a search last week or week before I posted a bunch of the cheapest motor prices I found. Believe me when I say I scowered everycorner of the net and everyone sources on this board and those were the cheapest I could find. Just click on my name and then click on show all of this users posts. Unless someone else remembers the thread name.

Re: Need An Engine!

i have no idea on milage. it was given to me when i bought my samurai. It us just block and crank. I know it needs bearings. All the cylinder walls look good. Looks like it may have been honed but as far as i know it has never been bored. I need to measure the cylinders and the bearing journals to confirm. Ive pulled all the bearing caps and they all look good.

$75+shipping im not sure what shipping would be. That short block weighs about 50lbs or so so you can figure ground fed ex or UPS from 17701 Williamsport,Pa
