U- Joints

I seem to be eating a few u-joints ! What brand have any of you used that you would recomend ...Thanks

SGP are damn near industructable. I hear Spicer ones are good too. The Neapco ones you get at NAPA and Autozone and such are okay, greasable (but hollow). Price is good. $7.30 each at Autozone.

the spicer one I had on my rear shaft lasted 5000 miles.... I was pissed....

I picked up some GMB's from RRO and have been running them, but am about to get some new shafts...
and just kiss them stock baby ones good bye and enjoy the 1/2 ton ones.....

how is your slipjoint?
is it loose? (meaning are your splines worn out?)

I am wondering if that will lead to premature u-joint wear out...

you probably have a problem with axle wrap. are you spoa? do you run a rear traction bar? if you dont you need one!
